The Hottest peppers in the world

Chilli peppers has been in our lives for a very long time, and has been used for several differnt reasons.  It can be used as a flavor in our food to spice things up a bit, it has been used for its appealing looks as decorations in kitchens and shops, and because it is so hot, it also gets used in competitions too see who can handle the most heat.  Today we look at the hottest peppers recorded up to now.

A pepper’s ‘heat’ is measured on the Scoville Scale, and is measured in SHU (Scoville Heat Units).  Let’s take a at the count down.

At number 4 we have the 7 Pot Primo.  It can be recognized by its thin tail.  It has a heat rating of 1,469,000 SHU.
